Well done, Milwaukee employers! 44 employers who collectively employ over 130,000 area employees  have worked together since 2012 to implement comprehensive employee wellness programs. Their collaboration helped Milwaukee become the first city in the nation to earn Well City USA award for the second time. Together, we are making wellness the way of work in our city.

Well City Milwaukee is a coalition of employers who have joined forces to put Milwaukee on the map as the city with our nation's healthiest workforce.  Led by the City of Milwaukee, Greater Milwaukee Committee (GMC), Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), Wellness Council of Wi., and the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee,  these employers have commited themselves to making wellness and disease prevention a key part of their business strategy and have seen a positive return in the health of and productivity of their employees. These visionary leaders in our community are transforming their workplaces to support health and create a new social norm for healthy lifestyles that will serve them well into the future and have a ripple effect on the community at large.

We invite you to join our crusade for a healthy and vibrant Milwaukee!
